Students have several choices for their studies abroad at Firenze Arti Visive.

Semester and Academic Year Program.
Studying for a semester or academic year, students can immerse themselves into an in-depth international education and experience. Classes are offered at the beginning thru advanced levels of study. While students have the choice to study for one or two semesters, to make the most of the abroad experience and to fully immerse yourself in the artistic process we highly recommend to study for a full academic year.

You will learn so much about Italian art, culture and history simply by being in Florence. To further broaden your experience, Firenze Arti Visive organizes an excellent program of cultural and social activities and advises students on how to get the most from the historical and contemporary Italian culture. You may participate in excursions to magnificent museums, art galleries and churches. Meet with artists, curators, gallery directors and critics, attend contemporary art exhibitions and watch Italian films are just some of the activities offered at Firenze Arti Visive.

Summer Progam
Summer studies are designed for the student who is unable to spend a semsester or academic year studying abroad. A five-week term, students may take up to six credits of study. Studio Art, Art History and Italian Language classes are offered at the beginning thru advanced level.

The Post-baccalaureate Certificate Program
The Post-baccalaureate Program offers a one-year, full-time program designed for students to achieve a new levelof mastery in art making. Post bac students spend a year of intensive work focusing on a specific area of inquiry or experimenting with a variety of media and ideas. This will allow students to develop a discipline of studio practice that will carry forward into graduate study or independent work as an artist outside an academic environment.
